Republican 1st Congressional District candidate Jon Barela’s apparently got skills… though you have to wonder how many tries it took before he made this shot for this shameless plug for his campaign Web site.

According to the Journal, it took eleven tries. He made the shot twice; once before the video was rolling.
I can’t help but wonder; if Martin Heinrich had made this shot, would Richard C and gm be whining about Heath pointing to it? I doubt it.
The media is supposed to be independent and objective. Too much of it is partisan to one party or the other. Besides, it is an amazing shot.
The US should join the rest of the world in multi-party democracy where diversity and coalitions gain a voice The two-party system has taken the US to the economic brink time and again. Neither party will turn around the country and stand up for working people, they owe too many favors to rich people and corporations.
I don’t see any problem with Heath putting this on his site. It’s not a plug. What’s wrong with showing the lighter side of politics once and a while?
I have never met Jon Barela so I can’t speak to how approachable he is or not. But I have met Martin Heinrich on several occasions and he’s so dang serious and introverted it makes you uncomfortable to talk to him. It is important to be able to approach our leaders and connect personnaly with them. Voters are starting to see that Heinrich’s cold attitude translates into his votes in Washington. Only a chilly person like him would ignore the will of the people on issues like health care, cap and trade and wasteful spending. Albuquerque is not San Francisco Mr. Heinrich!!!

This is ridiculous that you would put this up alongside the other news you like.
Another example of Haussamen backing Republican candidates over Democratic ones. Democratic candidates should boycott this site that has almost weekly op-eds from Susana Martinez and promotes videos such as this as “news.”

Shameless! Shameless……Shameless?…..I wonder who Heath supports. Everyone claims he or she is right down the middle and just tries to be fair. The sin isn’t supporting a candidate. The sin is trying to fool readers.
What a cool shot!! That is amazing. It’s good to see Mr. Barela out there, we haven’t heard much from the guy.
This is great, because many people are growing very tired of Heinrich, “Mr. Handsome.” The only news I have seen from that guy is that he was voted best looking in congress… I’m ready to support anyone but that guy. So Jon, just give me a reason!
Pretty impressive. It’s videos like these that can give context and personality to any candidate. This shows Jon is a genuine guy, who enjoys a day outside, even in the midst of a heated race.
