You need to read my two latest posts on my blog Hemingway. They will give you the minuses of having the Organ and Potrillo Mountains as a Wilderness Area. http://www.doylepruitt.com
A lot of misinformation has been spread about the greater good of these areas being in the Citizen's Wilderness and National Conservation Area Proposal. You are asking for a can of worms to be opened if these two areas are included as Wilderness designation. They also don't conform to the guidelines set down for a Wilderness Area. Be careful what you ask for. You will have to live with the problems it causes.

Busy representing us and not campaigning? Uh, huh. That's why he voted for pay-go--to hide from his constituents that he was voting to increase the debt ceiling, while still doing it. he should be ashamed of himself.

I guess Congressman Teague is misrepresenting us. One of the main reasons I voted for Harry Teague for Congress is the simple fact that he unequivocally supported the Citizens' Wilderness and National Conservation Area Proposal for the Organ Mountains including Sierra de Las Uvas, Broad Canyon, Robledos and Greater Potrillo Mountain Areas. In fact he sent two letters to me stridently stating that we need their preservation for future generations. Now he is waffling on this important issue. I guess I should realize the adage - "Never trust a politician." I am so DISAPPOINTED.
