>Despite population growth of over 10 percent, the State of New Mexico has fewer classified state employees than at the end of libertarian Gary Johnson’s last term as governor. Not just per capita, but in raw numbers.<

Carter,

New Mexico's public sector workforce is 26 per 100, which makes a rate of 51% above the average in all other states of 17 per 100. Our public-to-private sector ratio is 2nd highest in the country. Our compensation ratio is 10th highest in the nation, meaning our public employees make more money than private employees.

These sound like excellent, logical proposals, Carter. *Sigh* Can we hope that logic will prevail??
