It is particularly disappointing and diconcerting that Mr. Stranahan continues to perpetuate the misleading statement that the SLO will "increase our land value by $13 million." That figure does not account for the value of the Arroyo Seco lands and the Mesa del Sol tract the SLO plans to give the CS Ranch. When you actually account for all the lands involved in these exchanges, the trust only gains an estimated $731,500 - only about 3% of the total land value being exchanged all based on some rather suspect appraisals customized to facilitate these exchanges. Mr. Stranahan ought to be ashamed of himself.

"Stranahan maintains the exchanges benefit the people of New Mexico..." That's not the question. The question is whether the exchange process was fair and transparent (although the supposed benefit is also dubious).

One has to agree with Dr J. It is about time the A G did his job. Now that the elections are near, he steps out and does the job he is paid for. Why hasn't he done his job before? Could it be because he is fearful the voters may take him out?

Patrick Lyons has got to go! That's coming from a loyal, life-long Republican. The GOP cannot run an anti-corruption campaign if Lyons is on the ballot. Few others in the last few years has received worse press than Patrick Lyons. His candidacy for PRC not only hurts the GOP chances of retaining that seat, but hurts the whole GOP ticket. I don't know Judge Corn well enough to say I'd vote for him, but I do know Lyons enough to know that I won't vote for him. I look forward to seeing Corn win this primary.

Hurray, finaly Gary does something about something. I thought he was on vacation. It is good to get to the bottom of these smelly deals done with multi-millionaire ranchers whose legacy has been running roughshod over the citizens of Colfax County for generations.
