		<description>Its hard to say what Mr. Johnson is going to do.  I can&#039;t imagine him coming out into the public arena again unless he has some personal motivation for it.  That being said, I hope he does run for president.  Except for his position on drugs, which isn&#039;t necessarily a bad one - just an unpopular one, I think he would be a solid candidate for the GOP.

Many of us have felt ostracized from the party since the right wing neocons took over in the late 90&#039;s, and I believe Mr. Johnson is just the right person to reunify the party; a pragmatic moderate with his head screwed on straight and his heart in the right place.

His outspoken position on legalizing some drugs is definitely his achilles heel, and he&#039;d be certain to be attacked on it everywhere he went.  I would just hope people wouldn&#039;t base their vote solely on that one issue, and that he be given a chance to explain why partial legalization could actually be a good thing for everyone.  If the drug lords are making billions on it, why shouldn&#039;t our government be instead?!</description>
