The vast majority of those who voted in last week’s non-scientific poll on this site said Gov. Bill Richardson should not veto a provision in a budget-fix bill that requires cuts to the salaries and benefits of some of his political appointees.
Of 243 voters, 175, or 72 percent, said the governor should not veto the provision, while 65, or 27 percent, said he should, and three, or 1 percent, said they don’t know.
Don’t forget to vote in this week’s poll, located at the top of the left column on the home page.

After the way Richardson hog-tied the legislature and limited its options for fixing the budget crisis, he has some nerve considering ANY vetoes of the result. Is he trying to make the entire special session an additional waste of NM taxpayer money?
