Big Bill thinks that he can get away with anything. If he had thought about the problems of this state back when he was promoting boondoggles like the Rail Runner that is losing money or the Space Port that is a private enterprise, or any of the many entities that have cost the state millions in taxpayer money but have not brought any return to the people of Dona Ana County, we would not be in this condition now. He lived the life of a rich man by 'spending lavishly yesterday and worrying about today after the money is all gone'. Now that the state is in the hole so to speak, he wants everyone else to cover his losses. Hmmm! This sounds kind of familiar. He will not cut many of his own projects, you can bet on that.
