It is about time the lawmakers woke up to the fact that the need for employees in government is to serve the needs of the people. When there is no more need, then the job should position should be closed. I also agree that taking away from the children for the needs of adults is anti education. The children are our future and should be supported above all. There are many jobs in government that are no longer useful and should be cut, just as there are taxes that have been passed in good times that should be repealed. But do we ever see a tax passed and then repealed? Politicians want to look good to the voters, so they take the easy way out. I will repeat again, that you can't spend your way out of debt.
