Chávez wins this site’s non-scientific poll

Chavez, Martin

The majority of those who voted in last week’s non-scientific poll on this site said Albuquerque Mayor Martin Chávez will win re-election.

Of 299 votes cast, 183, or 61 percent, went to Chávez, while 73, or 24 percent, went to Richard Berry, and 43, or 14 percent, went to Richard Romero.

That’s obviously at odds with a scientific Albuquerque Journal poll released Sunday that had Berry in the lead.

Don’t forget to vote in this week’s non-scientific poll on this site, located at the top of the left column on the home page.
