Heather Wilson is the NM Republican Party's best hope to win the governors seat, but the party has followed the same path as the National Republicans have, and thus it's elites will have nothing of a sane, intelligent conservative.

I hear Sarah Palin's available...

Heather Wilson appears to be a nice person. Yes, she is intelligent and involved. Give credit where credit is due is my motto. However, she is a Republican and too conservative for my liking. Admit I voted for her once but doubt if I will ever again.

7/10/09
Heather Wilson is an astute and intelligent person, who has her finger on the needs of New Mexico and would be the best choice for Governor of the state.

No matter what office she would choose to run for, I would think the party and the rest of the people of this state would get behind her and push her into the Governor's seat or any office she wishes to run for.

I have met the lady on many occasions and found her to be open, intelligent, witty, and a fighter with compassion that thinks on her feet and is next to none in political savvy. What she has done for the State of New Mexico has been to the best of their interests in all aspects.

She would have my support and many others like me for any office she would run for.

At some level the question is if the citizens of our great state want a one party system.

The Republicans can only hope to find out if they have good candidates.

If good candidates from both parties meet in the general then it will show how much our state likes one party rule.
