Nice to see people who aren't Steve Pearce or Heather Wilson running for office. You'd think that Wilson & Pearce might think about going out, getting real jobs, and actually working for a living by now.

Wedum59 Has announced she will run for the House seat in District 59 once again. This will be her third attempt as a democrat to win this seat now held by Nora Espinoza. District 59 is a very conservative district. It encompasses 3 counties, Chaves, Otero and Lincoln with the bulk of the votes in Chaves County.Wedum59 is the former County Chair for the Otero Democratic party. I am concerned that Wedum59 as a democrat wants to reach across the aisle to this republican woman who wants to run for Governor. And then suggests the republican and Lt. Gov. Denish would be a dynamic duo. I do understand that votes from both sides are important in an election. But in my opinion, if you are trying to win a house seat it would probably be in your best interest to not kiss-up to republicans and certainly not to agree with republicans against "Mr. Speaker Lujan" If by some miracle you would happen to win this seat. I would suspect your chances of getting any good committee assignments would be ,let's say slim and none.Wedum 59, you cannot have it both ways. I am sure Arnold-Jones is a nice person but probably and most assuredly does not believe in the same values and policies that democrats do. I think before you run again you need to have a self-assessment as to which party you really want to represent.

I'm a Denish fan, but I really admire Arnord-Jones, especially the way she stood up to Speaker Lujan about broadcasting committee hearings.

I wish she would stay in the legislature, or that she could run on a bipartisan ticket as Lieutenant Governor with Denish for Governor. That would be a dynamic duo.

Nice to see people who want transaparency and have a track record of supporting it run for governor.

Now if only people would vote for the best person for the job instead who they think can raise the most money.

That is what leads to corruption. Come on people, let us do what's right and the politicians will have to follows us instead of us being led around by the wallet/pocketbook.
