It is obvious that the Governor and the House Speaker want to stay control freaks in Santa Fe. There are no loopholes needed to be studied when it is obvious that open sessions should be the norm in any state. This is what makes the lawmakers and leaders responsible.
There is always one or two or even three that think they know more than the rest of the people who elected them. These are the control freaks.
Welcome to good old boy politics in New Mexico. What else can you expect. Most of the other states look on us with disdain and laugh up their proverbial sleeves at us.

The only loophole in getting this important legislation approved is the anti-reform Governor Richardson. He says he is for reform but fails to follow thru because of so-called loopholes. Gimme a break!!!!!!

Well, here we go again! The GUV is concerned about "loop holes" in the legislation...what a joke! The only loop holes are the ones in his promises and statements.

The "Three Stooges" of the Senate leadership are a disgrace. You've heard the old saying "birds of feather..." These old crows should be sent home to roost.

You all remember the movie "Biggest Little Whorehouse in Texas" and the constant "Texas Side Step" the governor always made. In NM we have a similar dance called the "Governor's Corrida." In Spanish a corrida is a fast paced dance or run. For our use we will use the word run as the GUV continues to run from ethic responsibilites. He continues to protect Lujan and others...why? Just wait...as the soap opera..."As the GUV Turns" continues.

Stay tuned for future episodes.
